Purushottam V. Muley grew up in a small town in Maharashtra, where English was often viewed as a difficult and distant language. Starting his career as a school clerk, he soon realized his true calling was in teaching. Observing how students struggled with English grammar — not because the language was inherently hard, but because it was taught without connection to their mother tongue, Marathi — he felt a deep need to change the way English was taught.

Inspired by the thought that “if language is a flower, grammar is its fragrance,” Purushottam began creating simple and relatable methods for teaching grammar. He developed techniques that explained complex English concepts using Marathi, helping students understand and remember the rules with ease. This approach not only made grammar accessible but also sparked confidence in learners who had previously feared the subject.

His passion soon evolved into a mission. He established DnyanSugandh Academy, where students of all backgrounds came to learn English with clarity and courage. His book, Bhasha Sugandh – EG English Grammar, became a trusted guide for Marathi-speaking learners across the region. Today, Purushottam V. Muley is recognized not just as an educator and author, but as a mentor who has transformed the learning journey for countless students — proving that with the right support, every learner can blossom.
